Our children have been at Ascension since preschool, about 9 years in total. It is our family! We love that our children are known and loved and feel at home when they go to school. They have learned how to excel at learning. Any situation that occurred has been dealt with immediately with kindness and grace. We love chapel and how an emphasis on leadership is always at the forefront. So grateful for this gem in our community!!

Ascension has been a wonderful place for my children to grow and learn. Both of my children have been at Ascension since they were two years old. I have one who is a graduate and one who will graduate soon. This school is unique in every aspect of their learning philosophy. From the very beginning they are loved and nurtured for who each child is. Every single child who comes through Ascension is loved and valued. They are lifted up and their God given talents are encouraged and celebrated. Both of my children are very different learners and both of them have been challenged and pushed to meet their individual needs. Ascension is truly a hidden gem and I am forever grateful for the love and education my children have received their. I know it will carry them throughout their entire lives.

My daughter has gone to Ascension since she was 3 years old. The teachers and kids are so friendly and accepting. They've taught her to be so kind and loving. Mr. Ash is an awesome principal. He really connects with the kids and parents a refreshing change. I wouldn't want my daughter yo go anywhere else! Love this school

We have been part of Ascension school for 9 years with my two children. It is a treasure of a school and we are so grateful for the amazing experience we have had there. Their combined focus on academics as well as leadership and personal growth is extraordinary! I have seen my son excel in ways that would have not been possible elsewhere, it is the dedication of the teachers and the supportive environment that make this place so special, a true community that cares about the students, each other and the families. They have been in person full time since last Sept which shows how dedicated this place is towards the success of their students. Their handling of Covid was hands down the best of any school in Ventura County, they are simply the best!

Ascension nurtures the whole child into caring, responsible and accountable members of our community. I would highly recommend this school.

My boys have been at Ascension since preschool, and now my eldest son is in 6th grade. We have been so happy at Ascension. The teachers and staff are wonderful. Ascension is more than a school, it's a tight-knit, and yet welcoming, community. The children are not only challenged academically but they also have enrichment classes like music, Spanish, PE and outdoor classroom. If you're looking for a school for your kids, I cannot recommend Ascension enough. Plus, they are open for in-person (& remote learning), full days 5 days a week!
