- Chaminade College Preparatory School is an independent Catholicschool for young men in grades six through twelve. Students ofsuperior and above average ability can expect to be successful atChaminade. In addition to offering 26 Advanced Placement coursesfor college credit, an additional60courses areavailable for college credit sponsored by University ofMissouri-St. Louis and St. Louis University.Over 150students participate in our award-winning band program, and almost80% participate in our athletic program with recent top five statefinishes in soccer, cross country, swimming, basketball, hockey,bowling, golf, tennis and volleyball.81% of our seniorsreceiving merit scholarships. Chaminade is located on a beautiful55-acre campus in suburban St. Louis. Our new,state-of-the-art Viragh Center for the Arts is one of the bestauditoriums in the St. Louis area. Chaminade's campus is easilyaccessible to the St. Louis metro area, and is only ten minutesaway from St. Louis International Airport. Over $1.6 million inneed-based tuition assistance was offered to our students for the2014-2015 school year. Chaminade offers an ESOL (English forSpeakers of Other Languages) program for international studentswanting to improve their English skills. Students may enterChaminade at the beginning of a semester (mid-August and earlyJanuary); families moving to the St. Louis area can enter at othertimes of the year.
