Covenant Christian School began in 1985 in rented facilities with two teachers and 19 children in kindergarten and first grade. Covenant has developed a reputation unique to the Shoals area for offering a quality, multi-denominational Christian academic education with all academic aspects based on the Bible and biblical principles.

Prayer, academic excellence, and spiritual and moral development are central to Covenant's purpose. Covenant prepares students in the basics so that they can be confident in their abilities and successful in their work.
