- PRESCHOOL PROGRAM Development curriculum is tailored to each individual child.
Children learn and practice academic building blocks and social skills through creative play in a nurturing environment.
They begin their lifelong love of reading using Eldorado Emerson's successful Majelix reading program, in which they practice one-on-one reading with their classroom teacher or reading specialist.
Foreign language and music classes meet twice weekly, and early dance/gymnastics class is held once a week. To be enrolled, children must be at least 2 years and 9 months old and potty-trained.
By the end of their preschool experience, preschool students feel confident and eager to start Kindergarten. The school offers a flexible preschool schedule from half days to full days two to five days per week.
There are up to twelve students per day in the preschool classrooms.
Before- and after-school care are also available.
- ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAM (Grades K-6): Eldorado Emerson's elementary school program inspires imagination and creativity, and academic challenges are met with moments of excitement and growth.
Students thrive in a supportive environment with exceptional teachers who truly care about them and who facilitate learning by believing in students and encouraging their successes.
Small class sizes produce "communities of learners" who embrace individuality, team learning endeavors, and academic excellence.
Our faculty provides developmentally appropriate challenges that guide students through one success after another.
A variety of curricular experiences focuses on concept development, real life application, and establishing a lifelong love of learning.
In addition to our rigorous core academic curriculum, Eldorado Emerson students study art, music, foreign language and P.E., and they grow to become effective lifelong learners and communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.
- JUNIOR / SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (Grades 7-12): Our high school instills a love for learning in every student.
With small class sizes, our campus becomes an extension of the family.
By establishing strong rapport between teachers and students - emphasizing mutual respect - we ensure continued inspiration and encouragement as students grow both intellectually and emotionally.
Students embrace a challenging curriculum, and our teachers' backgrounds are as diverse as our student body.
Our exceptional teachers are experts in their individual fields, and many hold advanced degrees.
Our teachers not only provide strong classroom guidance, but also teach the importance of personal integrity.
Through the teamwork of faculty, students, and family, we bring out the best in every child; preparing our students for college, and providing them with the tools they need to fulfill their greatest potential.
Many of our students go on to prestigious universities.
