Notes for Prospective Students

Students are admitted to ECS on the basis of standardized test scores, their former school record (academics and discipline), personal evaluation, and the apporval of ECS administration. K2-K5 students must be the appropriate age on before September 1. All new students in grades K5-12 will be asked to take an evaluation in math, reading, and/or writing to establish readiness for the grade for which the application is made. Home-schooled students may apply for admission to ECS to enroll in one to three courses at the middle and high school levels. ECS will not accept a student who is currently suspended or expelled from another school or who has been referred for alternative placement to general eduaction.
