Notes for Prospective Students
We believe that a child`s success in an Early Childhood program
depends on a home-school connection. Therefore, entrance into the
preschool is based on the family interview. We do not meet or
assess children until after they have been accepted. In accepting
children, we strive for a balance of boys and girls in our classes,
as well as socio-economic, and cultural diversity. We look for
varying family structures, geographic, and racial diversity.
Although priority is given to faculty and staff children, as well
as siblings of current students, enrollment is never guaranteed.
Kindergarten entrance is based on a family interview, observation
of the child in his/her preschool setting, and recommendations from
the applicant`s preschool teachers. All children must be 5 years
old by September 1st of the year they will be entering Kindergarten
there are no exceptions.First through Sixth GradeAdmission is based
on testing and assessment, as well as a family interview, and a
