Grades: 6-12 | 9 students
Houston Outdoor Learning Academy, or HOLA, is a full-time school for students in grades 6 through 12 who wish to combine their innate curiosity, love of the outdoors, and academic growth into an educational setting that uses a hands-on approach to enhance self-esteem, multiple intelligences, academic knowledge, social skills, and personal success.
Houston Outdoor Learning Academy is comprised of an incredibly dedicated group of staff members.
Coming from various backgrounds and walks of life, one thing they have in common is their love of teaching.
Each teacher at H.O.L.A. gets to know each and every student who attends the school on a personal level, creating an environment of understanding and mutual respect that is very important, yet hard to find in an educational atmosphere.
