School Notes

Lake Country Christian School is a fully accredited private school, a community of Christian families with common purpose. The LCCS community of teachers, administrators, coaches, students, families and their churches are partners with a commitment to see our students impact their culture as Christian leaders who lead from a biblical worldview.  At Lake Country Christian School, we develop tomorrow`s Christian leaders today.

To underscore our commitment to prepare our students to lead in a digital world, we have adopted the IPad Initiative, implementing new methods of teaching and learning that will involve greater use of technology in and out of the classroom.

iEagles Launch To Lead is the phrase that embodies our dedication to prepare Lake Country Christian School students for the rapidly advancing technology of college education in the today`s world.  We currently use the iPad for  the 1:1 technology tool for teaching and learning, with an ongoing commitment to build strong Christian-character including Biblical morals and ethics.
  • Educate students for the 21st century
  • Equip students to lead in technology
  • Encourage students in innovative thinking

School Reviews

5.0  12/19/2014
I have been associated with LCCS for 25 years as a parent, grandmother, aunt, and teacher. The academic programs are rigorous and are continuously changing to be the best for each student. The fine arts program that begins and grows in PreK produces excellent work in both music and art. It has been amazing to watch the growth of the sports program over the years to include so many areas of competition. I have seen students excel in areas because there is room for them to do so in small groups and they are encouraged to compete in as many extracurricular activities as possible, as long as they are able to keep up the academics. Our students learn to punt (not football), which helps them prepare for all of life. Jesus is in every class and is amazingly incorporated into every subject matter. The faculty and staff are glad to be here each day - we love life with these precious students. They go on to do magnificent things with their lives and we are so proud of them. Need to know more? Call 817-236-8703 and ask for Mary Whitbeck. I would happily do another 25 years!

What is really important in choosing a private school? Ranks? Academics? Financial aid? Sports programs? Arts programs? One of these criteria doesn't matter. The others do.
