School Notes

Lakeview Academy is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory day school for grades K3 through 12 and is accredited by SAIS-SACS. Lakeview enrolls almost 600 co-ed students in grades K3 through 12. Lakeview offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with small classes that include Honors and Advanced Placement courses for academic enhancement, as well as a Learning Support program for students with special learning needs and styles. Since 1999, the school has integrated technology in every  discipline. Students in grades six through 12 have their own laptops on a fully wireless campus. Foreign language is taught at all levels including Early Learning. Extracurricular activities include clubs, cultural and academic field trips, performing arts, and a full athletic program. Enrollment is open to people of all races, religions, and national origins; financial aid is available to qualified students. Virtually all Lakeview graduates attend four-year colleges or universities. Bus transportation is available.
