  • It’s not uncommon for Maryvale students to stand up confidently at Community Homeroom and make an announcement before a crowd of 400. Or organize multiple fundraisers in the name of social justice. There’s no doubt: Maryvale girls are leaders. To assure the continued development of every Maryvale student’s leadership muscle, the Leadership Institute integrates leadership lessons and experiences through: Middle School and Upper School leadership courses; Advisory Program leadership activities; Maryvale student leader training; guest speakers; summer leadership opportunities; and exclusive, behind-the-scenes field trips to area corporations like McCormick and Under Armor.

School Reviews

Maryvale has an incredible history and has always offered excellence in its educational programs. Students have individual options as well as a strong base of required subjects. It genuinely prepares alumnae to become successful life-long learners. Maryvale is, by far, the best private school option in the Baltimore area!
