School Reviews

My daughter transferred mid-year to Masters Regional Academy from a public school. She felt warm and welcomed not only by the teachers and faculty, but also by her peers. Although the mid-year transition was at times overwhelming for my daughter, the faculty and staff at Masters set plans in motion to ensure that my daughter was successful in her subjects. Before long, I started to see a different side of my daughter. She would come home from school telling me how much she loved her day and how the teachers were so nice and encouraging. One day in particular, my daughter's math teacher spoke with her before class. He said "anything is possible with God, so never to say you can't do something". Math is the subject that my daughter has struggled with the most. However, she was inspired by him and I can see that she is really putting forth the effort to maintain a "B" in the class. A few more days had passed and my daughter said, "Mom, chapel was awesome . . . I want to get involved with our youth ministry next year and sing and learn to play the guitar . . . I think I can really make a difference." I see the works of God every time she speaks and this has moved me to tears. Also, the school assigned a female student, who is a junior, as a mentor to my daughter. My daughter shares a strong bond with her mentor and feels as though she is yet another person to connect with and someone to look up to . . . what a blessing! My daughter has found a school that she loves. She is interested in the academics and wants to pursue getting more involved in school activities as the opportunities present themselves! I am so honored that my daughter is a student at the Masters, which is a school of excellence and pride. I feel blessed that she is attending a school that promotes God, leadership, and encourages the children to learn while still making it fun and interesting.

My husband and I are so pleased with Master Regional Academy. Our daughters transferred here this year after attending a charter school since kindergarten. While we were pleased with the charter school, our 13 year old at the time wanted to checkout Masters because she wanted to freely worship God in school and knew that it wasn't really welcomed where she was at. During the Awakening conference this year there were tours offered too the youth and parents. Our daughter went on the tour with a few friends. After the tour she reminded us several times that the open house was quickly approaching. We decided that since she wouldn't stop talking about it we would check it out. We decided as a family that we would all attend. We were so pleased with the warm welcome of the principal and the administrative staff. By the time we left the open house, both of our daughters and their friend had an application. My husband and I were so impressed with the school that we wished there was a school around like this when we were still students. The fact that the main focus is on building a relationship with God and drawing closer to him. The fact that you don't have to be a part of one particular religious group but I''ve the Lord is what drew our family. My youngest daughter's faith that she was already going to attend this school even before the interview showed us that this was the school for them no matter the cost. We are so thankful that they are here. Both already having a desire to serve the Lord, have grown spiritually over the last few months. They come home daily excited about what they have learned in their Daiily Christian Living class. They talk about how they love starting off their school day praying with their classmates. Its just so reassuring that we can send our daughters to school knowing that the valuescwe teach at home are all being reinforced in school. Our daughters love the fact that they have chapel every Wednesday. They love worshipping with their teachets and classmates. Our pastor and his wife recently attended the brunch at the school and were also very impressed with this school. The love is felt in every area of the school. From the front door welcome reception to the parents volunteering at lunch time. This is just an amazing school and we are so very proud to be a part of this family. We pray more familes will enjoy this same experience. Jennifer and Lenny Watkins, parents of 8th and 10th graders

My son posted on his facebook yesterday "I''m Special". This was a positive step for him considering at his last school he endured relentless bullying from other students, causing him to have poor self-confidence. He really has struggled to fit in for a long time, but I believe that sending him to Masters is helping to develop his self-esteem, and I have seen that with improved self-esteem, his grades are steadily improving. What a difference from the last school he was in! His peers have been including him in activities outside of school, and my son has a smile on his face all the time. I am so appreciative of a faculty who wants my son to know he is special because He is made in God's image. Every day he is encouraged to strengthen his relationship with Christ, and every day I see his confidence soar because he is growing in the confidence of Christ. Thought u may want to know his progress emotionally. His school work is also better so far. Afraid to even say it. Hope it continues!

This is my daughters third year at Masters and I thought I should share with prospective families the blessing Masters has been to us. The love, grace and mercy found at Masters is immeasurable. The staff reaches out to the student body in numerous ways. They get to know the young men and women your children are becoming and encourage them in the Lord. Masters as a whole strives to focus your child on the road ahead by preparing for what is coming next, not only in the the week/month but for the years to come. Helping them to know where it is God would have them to be by praying for them and with them and taking the time to talk with the students. Masters has a fabulous school building which they put forth effort to keep like new. They are at the cutting edge of technology and strive to challenge your student. Masters is focused on training the next generation of leaders. I have seen my child go from sitting back and watching to stepping up and taking the initiative. They have helped her reach her potential in so many ways while walking along side her in the Lord. The academics are college focused snd designed to stretch you yo think critically. They offer amazing electives and are looking to provide you with more opportunists for growth, both academically and spiritually. Masters trains you for college. I am so thankful to the Lord for this school. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a Christian jr or sr high school to take the time to look at Masters Regional Academy.
