We have been blessed to have three of our children attend Mingo Valley Christian. If I were to distill what we have most appreciated about Mingo - which would otherwise be a lengthy list - I would identify three areas. First, and in no particular order, I appreciate the emphasis on fostering a Christ focused community, both within the school as well as within the Tulsa area. This flows from the leadership to the teaching faculty and to the parents and students, which leads to my second point. There is a genuine interest from the school with partnering with the parents for the education of the students. This expresses itself in ways including transparent communication, receptivity to new ideas, and an overall education rigor that can challenge students without becoming overwhelming or all-consuming, allowing them to enjoy the school experience. Finally and relatedly, the environment developed is such that new students are quickly accepted and befriended, and afforded immediate opportunities to be included in the arts, athletics, and other extra curricular activities. My wife and I are so thankful for Mingo Valley, and the positive impact it has had in the spiritual, academic, and social formation of our kids.

Our family has had the privledge of having two children in the elementary at Mingo Valley for the past several years. The individual attention and amazing instruction by the teachers is top notch. My children have grown in their faith and have been encouraged not only by their teachers, but by other students and families as well. Mingo has great opportunities for elementary students and my children have participated in basketball and an amazing jump rope team. This school has been a blessing to us and we would highly recommend it to others.

Mingo Valley Christian has been a true blessing in many ways. It's so exciting to see how our daughter's academic skills, faith and confidence continue to grow through her studies, activities and relationships. She is challenged, encouraged and supported each and every step of the way. I am confident that her experience here is not only preparing her for her high school years and college, but is also a great foundation that will benefit her throughout life. She is being encouraged to follow the Lord in all things and equipped to succeed in whatever she chooses to pursue. In addition, our family has been blessed by the friendships we have developed as part of the Mingo family! Some of those too will last a lifetime!

We struggled with where to send our daughter to school when she was entering kindergarten. We knew we wanted a challenging academic environment, but we also wanted a close knit community and a Christ centered education. After looking into multiple schools, we walked into Mingo Valley just to "see." Immediately, we knew this was where she belonged. She is receiving a very high quality education that will prepare her for her future endeavors both in college and in a career. She is also learning skills such as piano and participates in numerous extracurricular activities. One benefit that I never would have imagined could come from a small school is she has also formed amazing, strong bonds with some of the older students, who have been happy to serve as positive role models. Her knowledge of the Bible and her faith is immense and we have no doubt that if ever put in the position, she would be fully capable of defending her faith. Choosing Mingo Valley was one of the best decisions we have ever made and we are so fortunate that God guided us into those doors.

Our daughter started at MIngo in K5 and is now a 7th grader. The school advocates for the children and encourages a sense of family-like unity that runs throughout the entire school. As a Kindergartner, there were Seniors that knew our little girl and would watch out for her, as well as all the little ones. The quality of education is exceptional with lots of opportunities for growth. The sky's the limit. Our daughter has some difficulties and the staff is very willing and able to accommodate her needs to help her excel. She is doing great in her advanced classes.

MVC has been a joy from day one. We have 2 daughters here and there is truly a family feel. I know parents and teachers are praying for us and I am praying for them. Teachers take an individual interest in each student and you will not find harder working teachers who at the same time love the Lord and convey that to the kids. The academics are also on this same high level. A privilege to be here!

We chose Mingo Valley for its Christ-centered college prep curriculum but love it for the community. Both of my children have been discipled, supported, and encouraged by administrators, teachers, parents, and even other students. Academically prepared, our daughter transitioned easily from MVCS to college, and she was also ready to defend her faith. This year as a seventh grader, our son had numerous mentoring opportunities with upper school students that helped him mature both spiritually and academically. MVCS has been a great partner in helping us build character in our children.

Can't say enough good about our experience with the school. Tight-knit, very welcoming community, and the teachers are excellent. In an age when you hear much about "teaching to the test", this school teaches kids HOW to think. Excellent academics, coupled with a Christian worldview. My wife and I are so thankful for what we've seen Mingo Valley do in the lives of our kids.

All four of our children have attended, and we love it SO much. Teachers are deeply engaged with students and are committed to their success. Families form a real sense of community and look out for each others' kids. EXCELLENT theatre program and amazing leadership opportunities. The best parenting decision we ever made was to send our kids to Mingo Valley!
