The Montessori Center for Early Learning, Inc., headed by Patricia Duncan, is licensed by the State of Connecticut and recognized by the American Montessori Society.
The Montessori Center’s license is limited to 27 children.
Its exciting curriculum for the developing mind and the curious child offers an educational head start for children 3 to 6 years olds.
At the Montessori Center every child is exposed to daily opportunities for growth in many areas.
This is achieved in a safe environment of tender loving care.
Uniquely designed classroom materials are displayed so as to be an invitation for every child to observe and explore.
Through the natural processes of exploration and observation their skills begin to develop.
It is common to see a three year old working at tasks, which lead to writing, reading and mathematics.
It is also common for a five year old to come to the aid of a younger child or for several children to decide to work together on a project.
Social skills develop rapidly now as the children learn to share and help one another.
