Both of my daughters attended the Children`s House program at the Winston-Salem Montessori School. We all adored the experience. It`s a close-knit community with phenomenal teachers and staff. They address the needs of the children in a holistic fashion teaching life skills (manners, cleaning, relationship skills ) alongside the early academic work of preschool years (letter recognition, phonics, writing, early math concepts, and science). At WMS teachers offered customized experiences for my children to foster their unique passions and interests (animals, sewing, music.) The multi-age classroom provides incoming students with lots of mentors which helped even my introverted, shy child to feel welcome and comfortable very quickly. Over the years as my kids grew into the mentor role themselves, I watched their patience, leadership, and communication skills blossom."

Highly recommend TMS. A very special school and community in its own right. We enrolled our toddler this year and couldn't have been any happier with the smooth transition and experience our child as well as ourselves are having. The staff and teachers are amazing and love the line of open communication we have. Our child is thriving everyday and learning new things.
