How does a firefighter find a fire hydrant that is buried in snow? The answer is – they look for those white and orange bands 9 feet up the utility poles along Georgetown’s roadways. The highly reflective aluminum flashing shows up well when lights are shone on them after dark. Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser A spaghetti supper fundraiser will be held Saturday, July 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Union Congregational Church. Cost is $6 individual, $20 family, $7 take-out dinner. On Sunday, July 26, at 10 a.m., there will be a worship service, a service of blessing for the Ministry of Nursing.
