The students, faculty and parents of Franklin Road Christian School participated in their annual Serve-A-Thon, “FRCS Gives Back”, on Oct. 7. FRCS Gives Back is a day that is set aside for every student to serve our community. This year the students participated in 15 different projects. Opera-Singing senior wins competition (Calvin Spark)

Jennifer Jones, FRCS Class of 2004: Now a fifth year senior at Calvin College, Jennifer Jones was featured in the Calvin Spark, Summer 2009, for her first place win in the Opera Grand Rapids competition. Jennifer sang "Song to the Moon" from Dvaorak's Rusalka, and the "Dove sono" from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro.
