The new Holmdel Volunteers in Parks VIP) program continues its earth-friendly clean-up events at Bayonet Farm, 41 Middletown Road, Holmdel 1-4 p.m. Nov. 22. The Pegasus Production Company of Christian Brothers Academy will perform "The Passion of Dracula" at 7 p.m. Nov. 13- 14 and 20-21 at the Henderson Theatre, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft. The show will feature a cast of talent that includes James Robinson and Frank Saverino of Manalapan; Devin Mattheson of Brick, Devarat Chaudhray and C.J. - In the Service (The Hub)

Ryan B. Murphy has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. A 2006 graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven High School, Rumson, he is a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Va. The cadet is the son of Mark B. and Barbara L. The fourth annual Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial 3.5-mile run and 2-mile walk will take place on Nov. 8 at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel (rain or shine). The coronation was put on hold. The Marlboro High School boys soccer team had the chance to wrap up the Shore Conference A North Division overall title on Oct. 13, but Christian Brothers Academy's 2-0 victory over the Mustangs at the Marlboro Recreation Center not only delayed the Mustangs' championship, it put three teams back into the hunt for the division title. - Patriots' harriers capture A North Division crown (News Transcript)

The Freehold Township High School boys cross country team's season keeps getting better. Coach Brian Golub's Patriots had already carted away championships at the Cougar Invitational (Large Schools Division) in Colts Neck and the Freehold Regional High School District Championship, and now they have a third title to add to the trophy case.
