All eligible elementary school children in Chemung County will have been offered the H1N1 swine flu vaccine by the end of this week. Some of the children received the shots or the mist spray last week. The Friends of the Steele Memorial Library has listed the winners of its 33rd annual Poetry Festival held March 28-29, which featured a workshop with guest poet and Pulitzer-Prize winner Dr. Carl Dennis at the library in Elmira.
