DEARBORN HEIGHTS -- Students from Dearborn Heights Montessori Center, Livonia Montessori Center and Plymouth-Canton Montessori School will participate in the United Nations’ International Day of Peace on Sept. 21, by joining other Montessori students from around the world to sing “Light a Candle for Peace.”

The public is invited to tour Canton Montessori School during an open house 1 to 3 p.m. next Sunday at 125 15th St. NW. The school is a nonprofit early-education institution offering infant, toddler, pre-primary and primary education programs for children from 6 weeks of age to the third grade.
