On Monday the back parking lot of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station was filled with property that had been stolen from eight schools in the foothills area. The items were recovered from a La Cañada couple’s apartment and storage unit. - Back in the game (La Cañada Valley Sun)

There have been three incidents of sports equipment stolen from area schools within days, sometimes hours of each other. Sometime overnight between March 12-13, La Cañada High School and Flintridge Preparatory School were broken into and thousands of dollars worth of team equipment was stolen. - Gear taken in school break-ins (La Cañada Valley Sun)
