    Winning is contagious. For a Lake Center Christian School volleyball team coming off of a 6-14 season, that lesson has been a welcome one to learn at the outset of the 2009 season. After getting accustomed to new coach Jim Noall's system in four scrimmages leading up to the season, the Tigers came out strong in their first match of the season against Noall's former team, Our Lady of the Elms.

    Lake Center Christian School had their biggest joint signing in school history as four baseball players signed letters of intent to continue their baseball careers on to the college level. Signing on Aug. 18 were Justin Vandegrift, Shane Byler, Jesse Coblentz and Erick Locker.
