Several Minerva Area Christian School students recently received superior ratings at science fair and will advance to the regional event. They are: third-graders Jake Moser and Tia Moser, fourth-grader Piper Koble and fifth-graders Patrick Finnegin and Logan Pottorf.

Timken High School senior Paul Hoven won first place in photo illustration in the Rochester Institute of Technology competition for deaf and hearing-impaired students. The competition also involved digital Arts, film and animation.
