* Aaron Tabernacle United Holiness Church of Life, 2500 Bethel Road, Feldtonville, will host a Family and Friends Day on Sunday. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. and guest speaker at the 11:30 a.m. service will be the Rev. Gail Jackson of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Linwood. Bishop Henry Harris of the New Bethel Apostolic Church will be guest speaker at the 4 p.m. service.

BROOKHAVEN — Thanks to a two-year donation of $20,000 in scholarship funds from Penn Terminals Inc., the Bridge Educational Foundation announced Wednesday that children unable to attend The Christian Academy because of family financial situations now have a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dark economic horizon.
