Maegan Powell and David Lee were crowned Prom King and Queen 2009 for NPCS. PAMPLICO – On March 26, 2009 New Prospect Christian School was one of the first of the local schools to hold this year’s prom. Their theme was “Take Me There.” - Area schools return for new year (Florence Morning News)

PAMPLICO - Rebekah Bragan of Pamplico is the Relay For Life team captain for Beulah FWB Church Relay Team in Pamplico. Bragan is also a two-time cancer survivor. In 2000, after months of being extremely sick, being diagnosed with cancer came as a relief to Bragan. - Prosser named Employee of the Year (The Hemingway Weekly Observer)
