The Genny Wood Memorial Art Show and Sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Bullard First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 204 S. Rather. Christopher J. Scheel has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. The second annual Brook Hill East Texas Championship Boys Basketball League is now open for team registration. The League is for team entries only. Divisions offered are for boy’s teams in grades 1st-2nd, 3rd- 4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th. All the games are played on the campus of The Brook Hill School and Coach Wally Dawkins is the League Director. read more
