    Church to reopen food pantry Due to overwhelming need, the Christian Outreach Team at First Church of Christ, Bradford, has decided to reopen the church's food pantry. Members will visit area food pantries and attend monthly Haverhill Hunger Roundtable meetings to better understand the need that exists in the community.

    METHUEN — The Pirates and Princess Party at the Sons of Italy raised $340 for the Merrimack Valley Dream Factory, which grants the wishes of chronically-ill children. Fifty-six children, girls dressed in gowns and tiaras and boys wearing bandanas and eye patches, attended.
