Friends are rallying around a Moorpark family whose 4-year-old daughter is in the fight of her life against a rare form of cancer. Kaiden Evans was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma in May and is undergoing treatment at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, said Natalie Barbera, whose 5-year-old daughter attends Pinecrest School in Moorpark, the same school as Kaiden. - 2 sixth-grader win prizes for letters to the president (Ventura County Star)

Two sixth-graders from Pinecrest School in Thousand Oaks have won prizes for letters they wrote to the president.
