For once, not seeing the forest for the trees was beneficial. Kaileigh Ducharme pitched two scoreless innings as the Mayo Mustangs (2-0) defeated the Southern Bulldogs (1-1), 21-7 in girls U14 action. Grandparents of all ages filled the multi-purpose cafeteria and gym at Millersville Elementary School and poured out into the lobby early Wednesday morning, sipping coffee from disposable cups and waiting to visit their grandchildren in their classrooms.
