The comparisons are inevitable. Rodney Purvis and John Wall are both point guards with similar builds, enormous basketball skills, tremendous speed and leaping ability. They also both live in the same city and attract national attention.

But a coach who worked with both says any comparisons between Wall, a University of Kentucky recruit from Raleigh Word of God Academy, and Purvis, who just competed the eighth grade at Upper Room Christian Academy, are unfair.
