By CLEVELAND TINKER Special to the Guardian Joyce Daniels recently turned her dream of owning her own banquet hall into reality. "This has been my dream for the last five or six years," said Joyce Daniels, who along with her husband, Jimi Daniels, are the owners of Last Chance Banquet Hall, 219 NW 10th Ave, in the building formerly occupied by Powell's Beauty Academy.

The Rev. Allarry Daniels of Shiloh Baptist Church in Terrell will be among more than 30 pastors who will be honored at the Southern Bible Institute Gala Banquet on May 1 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas.
