Re the June 28 story Loose rules doomed church: I have been a member of St. Stephen`s Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove for 25 years. I am not part of the leadership; I am just a member. But I attend faithfully and regularly.

A week ago, I thought this column would be an eloquent plea for saving Miami's oldest house of worship.
