Our Mother of Consolation, a Catholic elementary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, was founded in 1862.
In 1881, the doors at the present location, 17 E. Chestnut Hill Avenue, were opened.
The school is staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph and lay faculty.
Our Mother of Consolation serves the educational needs of children from pre-kindergarten through grade eight.
Our average class size is 23 students.
OMC carries a rich tradition of education to many fourth and fifth generation families attending the School.
OMC School exists to promote spiritual and academic growth in a Catholic Christian environment.
