To understand communities, students built a community from scratch. Working with the teacher, students had to design the roads, building the buildings, determine the layout of the buildings, and make public spaces. Following completion of the unit, the building and land were 'sold' to the highest bidder. Prince William Academy
Students complete numerous cooking projects during our Summer Cooking Camps and throughout the school year. Some include: pizza fractions, jellybean probability, measuring with cookies, and international recipes. Prince William Academy
At our annual Fall Festival students selected pumpkins from the patch and then travel through centers for different activities, including a petting zoo, bouncy house, and face painting. Prince William Academy

Our curriculum is set one grade level ahead of the public school standard and our teachers successfuly provide differentiated learning that incorporates elements of Montessori, IB, and digital technologies.
Our phonics based curriculum begins with our 2 year old students along with our language program (Spanish, Arabic, and Mandarin) through the 8th grade. Our hands-on approach to curriculum aligns with the standards of the International Baccalaureate's Primary Years Program (candidate school).
