Oxford Academy is currently looking to hire a social studies teacher for an on-campus faculty position. Academic instruction may include world history, U.S. history, and possible electives such as economics and psychology, and courses of specific student and teacher interest. Oxford is a small all-boys boarding school where teachers work with grades 9-PG. The "Oxford Method" involves individualized and tailored instruction and curriculum to best educate our diverse student body. This method is implemented in a one-to-one classroom environment. Oxford is looking for candidates with past experience at boarding schools (as a faculty member or student). We are happy to consider individuals who are new to the field of teaching and those who are more experienced and looking for a unique teaching opportunity. Teachers with the potential to help sustain technological development on campus are encouraged to apply. This position is open to all applicants. Oxford is a small all-boys boarding school where teachers work with grades 9-PG. The "Oxford Method" involves individualized and tailored instruction and curriculum to best educate our diverse student body. This method is implemented in a one-to-one classroom environment. We are happy to consider individuals who are new to the field of teaching and those who are more experienced and looking for a unique teaching opportunity.
