DEVELOPMENT OFFICE: MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER Reporting to the Director of Development, the Major Gifts Officer will demonstrate proven skills in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors ($10,000+). This confident and engaging person will manage a portfolio of 100+ prospects, and be held accountable for annual fundraising goals, in addition to working as part of a team on the creation and implementation of overall fundraising strategies. Responsibilities also include: leading one-on-one solicitations, writing and editing proposals and reports for potential donors, assisting in development projects and efforts as needed. Bachelor’s degree required; CFRE preferred. Minimum of five years of demonstrated success as a front-line fundraiser, including success in closing 6 & 7-figure gifts. Experience in an education organization is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate well-honed skills in development long-term donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies. Position involves working early mornings, evenings, and weekends upon occasion. Submit resume and cover letter, with expected salary range.

DEVELOPMENT OFFICE: ANNUAL GIVING MANAGER Reporting to the Director of Development, the Annual Giving Manager directs and administers the annual giving program, including direct mail, donor databases, gift processing and accounting, special events, donor recognition and stewardship, and more. This position works closely with the Major Gifts Officer to identify, cultivate and solicit major annual gifts, and with the development team on overall fundraising strategies. In addition, the person is responsible for management of all aspects of the direct mail program, research and screening of major gift donors and profile preparation, maintaining and updating the database, donor recognition and stewardship, and regular reports on fundraising activity. Minimum two years’ direct experience with fundraising, especially individual solicitation. Bachelor’s degree required; experience in education preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office, Raiser’s Edge, database management, and computer-related skills, with strong experience in analyzing and interpreting data. Will require early mornings, evenings, and weekends upon occasion.
