Queen of Apostles takes faith and academics very seriously. The Catholic faith is taught in a holistic way to each grade, incorporating all the teachings, feasts and fasts of the liturgical year in an engaging way and connecting them to everyday life. Because it is a small school, it has a wonderful teacher/student ratio, allowing students to get the individualized attention and direction they need, though there might not be as many resources and programs as are available at a public school. The student body is extremely diverse, representing countries from all over the world. Teachers take their jobs of molding students' minds, souls, and hearts very seriously. We've been very happy here, with children in both elementary and middle school.

I have two children at Queen of Apostles School. My oldest (our third) graduated in June. They have all received an incredible education and my oldest tells us daily how Queen of Apostles School prepared her to be successful in high school. The teachers are dedicated, professional, and care about developing the whole person - not just the academic performance of their students. Our kids all participated in Tennis, Basketball, Cross Country and band. Whether you plan to make the Alexandria area your home or are just here for 3-4 year orders, you and your children will benefit from the time spent at QofA.
