Notes for Prospective Students:

-Pre-Elementary Program (Preschool-Kindergarten)
The Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA) is officially recognized by the French Ministry of National Education and complies with its educational programs.  French speaking and non-French speaking applicants alike are admitted to the pre-elementary program according to the child’s age group. Age is determined by the cut-off date of December 31st.

-Students coming from public or private French schools formally recognized by the French Ministry of National Education are admitted at the level stated by the previous school based on the official report cards submitted with the application.  
Students coming from private schools or from overseas schools not recognized by the French Ministry of National Education will be admitted upon assessment. A sufficient fluency in spoken and written French is necessary. Students are required to submit a completed application form and report cards, ‘bulletins scolaires’ and standardized tests from the previous three years.
