  • Red Cedar School is a Vermont Recognized K - 12 independent school. Admission to the school is based on the desire and motivation of the student to learn in the school’s setting, and the willingness and ability of the student to take responsibility for him or herself within the school community. Admission is offered to students for whom the school believes that Red Cedar would be a good fit, on a space available basis. The school accepts students who are age five or older (or who will turn five by September 1st of the year they are entering). Applications received by March 1st will be given first consideration. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space available basis. Admission mid-year is possible if there are openings. The Red Cedar School welcomes students of any race, gender, sexual orientation, color, creed, religion, class, national or ethnic origin. All students are accorded the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students at the school.
