Notes for Prospective Students
- PACE School serves the needs of students 6-22 years of age, PACE school is a non-profit, non-public school, certified by the California Department of Education and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. PACE school serves students who live with moderate to severe Autism Spectrum Disorders, with a specific emphasis on non-verbal individuals who are most at risk for educational failure and least likely to live independently as adults. After 11 years of leasing space, in January 2008, PACE school relocated to its own privately purchased facility in Santa Clara.
- Early Intervention Program Early intervention is key to enabling children diagnosed with ASD to achieve their full potential. PACEâ€“EI consists of: home-based and center-based therapy; preschool and play groups programs; parent training and support. Infants to 6 year olds and their families participate in specialized therapy and preschool programs designed to help them develop essential social and verbal skills needed to participate in school-age learning. PACE Early Intervention program is located in West San Jose.
