The students are ages 5 1/2 through 12 that have emotional and behavioral challenges.
These students have acting out behaviors (defiance, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting) that have prohibited them from staying in their regular school, or even a specialized classroom in their school.
More than 95% of our students have experienced trauma. This trauma may be physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, neglect, or witnessing domestic violence.
Students have at least a 70 IQ or higher and should have the approval of their home school district to attend.
Parents are expected to meet a minimum of two times per month for family therapy sessions.
