RMCA is a classical and Christian school dedicated to equipping students to impact their world for Christ by igniting a life-long passion to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty.
Nations Day | For the entire month of October, students in grades K-5 study a particular nation in each classroom, including overviews of that country's history, language, culture, art, music, and much more. This study includes many hands-on activities and special art projects designed to teach students the 'tools' for learning about and appreciating other cultures.
Middle School Outdoor Education Retreat | Survival education. Zipline thrills. Smoky campfires. Night hikes. Camp food. Lifelong memories.
8th Grade Critical Thinking Project | Each year, 8th grade students choose a controversial topic and spend the year researching it, forming an argument, writing a paper, and preparing a presentation.
Our standardized test scores remain in the upper quartile nationally. Every year, RMCA students in grades 2-8 take the Stanford 10 test. Our scores are compared nationally and are consistently superior to national norms without any efforts to directly prepare our students for these exams.
RMCA's preschool provides children with a loving, secure environment in which to learn and grow. Our developmentally responsive programs for ages 3-5 encourage learning through play. Spacious and welcoming classrooms allow for activities that are both child and teacher initiated.
'I thank God that my kids attend RMCA. This school has made a huge difference in their moral character. They love God and they enjoy learning the Bible. They are respectful and considerate to adults and peers. And all three of my girls have held on to that glimmer of innocence.' - RMCA parent
The middle school program continues to build on the well-rounded classical and Christian foundation laid in the elementary years. There is a greater emphasis on the development of critical thinking skills, including the study of formal logic. Special care is taken to nurture students through the social and emotional challenges of adolescence.
- Rocky Mountain Christian Academy provides classical andChristian education to students in preschool through 8thgrade.
- Our faith-based curriculum gives students an education thatsurpasses the expectations of every accelerated program in thearea.
- RMCA teachers partner with parents creating a community whereJesus Christ is exalted, parents are honored, students aretreasured and teachers are esteemed.
