We recently moved from a Christian school in Michigan to Fort Wayne and had very high expectations due to our experiences. Emmaus Luthern Pre-K program very much surpassed what we were expecting. The staff was very responsive when I had questions, and they kept me informed on the progress of my child weekly without me asking. My daughter loved Pre-K here even when we were in a pandemic. She still continued to thrive. Her teacher made sure we had everything we needed to succeed. We felt like we were a family at this school. We will be continuing our children's education here.

My daughter is currently finishing up pre-K at Emmaus. She started in Preschool and had such a wonderful experience that we continued on. I chose Emmaus for its location, academic reputation, warmth and caring nature of the administration and teachers. With COVID-19, they have gone above and beyond for their students. We have a lot of options for great schools in SW Allen County, but I am very pleased with our choice of Emmaus Lutheran.

I cannot speak highly enough of the preschool and pre-k program at Emmaus. Next year I will enroll our third child after the other two went through their program. The teachers are masters of teaching this age and it shows in not only their love and care for the students but in the quality of education. This is not just a day-care with education sprinkled in. This is a top-notch Christian education. The school is academically appropriate but, more importantly, developmentally appropriate. Your kids will learn through song, and movement, and touching, and playing, as well through pencils and crayons and other "traditional" means of education. The entire learning environment is exceptional. Check them out. You won't be sorry!

I have three children currently at Emmaus and have been quite pleased to have them in such a wonderful environment for learning. They learn about Jesus every day and instructed by very caring and qualified teachers. Weekly chapel allows students at all levels to gather and I love that they have prayers at dismissal time to bring the day to a close. The Christmas programs (3) were a wonderful event that showcased the talents of all grades as well as the patience and care of the teachers to get everyone prepared. Plenty of options for elective topics with the middle school students and extracurricular activities at all levels allow for well-rounded children. My oldest especially likes the rigorous learning environment that challenges and fully engages his mind, which is very needed in the middle school years. My kindergartner loves everything about Emmaus - her teacher, classes, friends, crafts, lunch, and recess. My preschooler has to grow up in so many ways this year and I frequently overhear him singing songs or reciting nursery rhymes he learned during the day while he is playing at home, which the older two never did when at other preschools. When the world threw a curveball with the virus shutdown in spring, the faculty and staff quickly rallied to continue the school year online every day to provide stability to the children in an uncertain time. The community feeling continues with regular communications, video meetings, virtual field trips, and events like car parades for teachers or the occasional curbside visit to say hello and provide a word of encouragement.

Two of my children attended preschool and pre-k here. We loved the incorporation of religion in the curriculum. Chapel visits once a week. Field trips and library visits for pre-k. The teachers are amazing. We always felt at home here. This school really prepared my children for kindergarten.

Our oldest went to Emmaus for preschool and currently is attending Emmaus Lutheran School. We have our second in preschool there right now and our third will go there as well. We love Emmaus because it is full of caring, knowledgeable staff. They know how to teach and nurture students at every age level. I know that when my children are with their teachers at school; they are safe, happy, and taken care of. I also love that my children get to hear about the love of Jesus in all aspects of their day. Emmaus is truly a community and I am fortunate that my children get to be a part of that!

We could not be more pleased with Emmaus. Our son has learned so much this year. He has not only grown academically but also socially and spiritually. They offer so many wonderful things for students while making it feel like a true family. We can't say enough wonderful things about Emmaus!

We have sent three of our children to Emmaus for preschool and prekindergarten. They were so well prepared for kindergarten. They know how to work as a community and be kind to one another. They offer gymnastics, soccer, and baton as enrichment that is done during the school day. Our kids loved going to the library, the gym, and chapel. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Emmaus.
