School Notes Overview: |
The purpose of Gray Road Christian School is summarized in our mission statement, growing strong minds and committed hearts. We strive to build on the God given talents, creativity and gifts of each child. Since 1984 our school has been providing a comprehensive, Christ centered education for children. Our students benefit from a strong academic program that is grounded in Biblical truth and taught in a loving and nurturing environment. We offer affordable, quality Christian education in an inter-denominational setting. We are a ministry of Gray Road Baptist Church, but your child does not have to be affiliated with our church to attend the school. We place great value on each individual, and we strive to cater to different learning styles. You will appreciate the student/teacher ratio at each grade level. In addition, our classrooms provide opportunities for work in small groups and one-on-one instruction. Along with traditional academics, our students benefit from our music program, physical education, Spanish instruction, drama and art. Weekly chapel times challenge students to live the things they have learned. Our field trips and special events add excitement and anticipation to each school year. ...read more
