Spirit Of God Accelerated Education
School Notes Overview:
For 11 years, parents in the Spirit of God Fellowship transported their children to South Holland, Illinois so they could receive a good Christian education. Some positioned themselves before the Lord, expressing their need for such a school here in Gary. Spirit of God Accelerated Education was planted under the auspices of Spirit of God Fellowship in the summer of 1989. We began with four day-care students, four teachers and an administrator. Since then thousands have been fed and watered, and the Lord Himself has given a regular and continuous increase in His work through this effort. The curriculum is phonically based and we use the Abeka Book Program primarily as the foundation of our academic instruction. The primary facet of our mission and call is to exalt Jesus Christ and extend the Kingdom of God throughout the earth. We do this by spreading the message that the Kingdom of God is here and in effect now. It is the heart of man that hosts this rulership, so the Kingdom of God rules in the hearts of God’s people wherever they are. Our attitude and behavior are to reflect the rulership of God....
