- CONCORD School is a Christian alternative school dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to complete their secondary education. The purpose is to serve students who have dropped-out, been expelled, or are not succeeding in a traditional public school system. Our goal is to help them move toward self-sufficiency through education and mentoring. A quality, individualized education is one of the most effective means for transforming their lives. The mission of Concord School is to provide a vital individualized, alternative education for youth whose needs are not being met in their current academic setting.
Unique Features of CONCORD School:
- Individualize learning experience
- Low student-faculty ratio
- Faith-based learning
- Affordable
- A holistic approach.
- Faculty and staff that give their lives.
- Small environment.
- Strong academic requirements that allow for remediation.
- An allowance for process.
Concord School is a member school of the National Association of Street Schools, NASS.
Future plans include growing the school to accommodate the needs of the Lafayette-West Lafayette community in offering a small, flexible learning environment for those students who require it. Concord School is governed by a board of directors composed of concerned men and women from the community who share with the administration the vision that quality Christian education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and dependence.
