Hillside Catholic Academy strives to provide its students with a Catholic Christian academic foundation and to instill in them a sense of respect and self-discipline that supplements the teachings of the home. Hillside Catholic Academy promotes the growth and maturity of the students academically, emotionally, morally, and most importantly spiritually. Religion is not considered a subject taught by and learned from books, rather, the "Good News" is present in our thoughts, heard in our words, and demonstrated by our actions as an example for all to follow. We endeavor to spread the Gospel message throughout our school and into our communities. The message of the Gospel must be put into action within our school and through out our community. As educators, we are responsible for serving as models of faith in action, so that our students may follow our example. We help to shape well-rounded individuals who are strong in knowledge, morals and faith. We help to shape well-rounded students spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. Education is a constant process that does not begin or end in the school building. A person’s education is not judged by how much knowledge is acquired in academic subjects alone. Our job as educators is to support and reinforce the lessons students learn at home. What our students learn at Hillside Catholic Academy will provide a strong foundation for their futures. Because of what our students learn at Hillside Catholic Academy they will be well-equipped to deal with life’s challenges.
