School Notes

  • In alignment with the Archdiocese of Kansas City's mission, our school strives's to incorporate Catholic faith in every academic subject. Our religious education curriculum includes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based faith formation program for Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students. We also have social justice initiatives and service projects.
The elementary school employs 28 teachers, while our early education program has four full-time teachers. Our staff qualifications include two full-time learning specialists, licensed counselors, school nurses, before and aftercare coordinators, and summer program coordinators.

We prioritize academic excellence and our efforts have been recognized by the prestigious 2023 Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann CEF School of Excellence award. This accomplishment is a testament to our unwavering commitment towards providing the best education to our students.

Our additional programs include STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics), music & band, art, PE, technology instruction (1:1 technology), library, and the federal school lunch program.

We also offer enrichment activities such as 5th-8th grade band, after-school clubs, and grades 3-8 Parish CYO Sports (see sports listing).
