Our classes emphasize nutrition, fitness, cooperative sports. Competitive teams for those students who are interested include, basketball, softball and soccer. Students also do track and field.
We all learn to play chess - with giant chess pieces. A great alternative to video games. Chess is a skill that lasts a life time. And we like board games.
Students are in class and loving school within a day or two. During the summer we build our own furniture: students built this picnic table.
Balboa City School (BCS) is an accredited, K-12 private school in San Diego offering college preparatory curriculum in small, structured classes.
