The mission of Santa Fe Montessori School, in adherence to the principles of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) as envisioned by Dr.
Maria Montessori, is to provide a diverse, nurturing community where children are encouraged to concentrate their mental resources for the purpose of becoming successful learners.
Our goal is to stimulate each child's natural curiosity and to prepare her/him to become an independent, self-directed, self-disciplined, self-reliant, confident, optimistic, compassionate human being who thinks critically, enjoys learning, and loves life.
We strive to provide a quality education that supports each child's individual development while acting in a manner that empowers each child and brings out the best in each child.
We strive to provide learning that is in accord with each child's personal learning style and time line, while maintaining an accessible, quality Montessori education for all the children in our community.
