Terrebonne defeated New Iberia Senior High 25-17, 25-19 in the finals of the 2009 NISH/Community First Bank Volleyball Tournament held Saturday, with NISH, Terrebonne, St. Amant and Cecilia winning the four pools.

Fifteen visiting teams join New Iberia Senior High in the 2009 NISH/Community First Bank Volleyball Tournament at NISH on Saturday. The teams are divided into four pools, with each team playing the other three teams in its pool.

LAKE CHARLES — Kamryn Koch, who will be honored as McNeese State's Desmond Jones Athlete of the Year prior to Saturday's football game against Henderson State, will also have her soccer jersey retired prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. soccer game against Alcorn State.
