The administration, faculty, patrons, parents, guardians, and students feel it is the responsibility of the school to provide maximum growth in the field of education. Minden’s own Brandon McInnis will return to her hometown Saturday, October 3 promote her new book, “The Adventure Cookbook.” The book, written under the pen name Sofia Brandon, chronicles the writer’s journey to heal various medical conditions through diet. - Students return to public schools (Minden Press-Herald)

Today officially kicks off the 2009-10 school year, with students returning to campuses across the parish. Allstate agent, Gina Eubanks Almond has been awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for her commitment to volunteering in the community. With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Glenbrook School of Minden Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
